Duesenberg Star Player
This is my favorite Rhythm guitar ever. Duesenberg is a relatively new company with an extraordinary line of some of the most amazing sounding guitars i have ever played. I keep this guitar tuned to standard E,A,D,G,B,E tuning and i use it for almost all of my rhythm playing. Try this guitar through a marshall and you will never touch your Les Paul again. No kidding.
Fender Telecaster
This is a Mexican made Fender that i bought in 1996. Originally I bought it because it was pretty but as you can see, that didn't last long. I love this guitar because it is versatile, incredibly beefy, great for slide, and absolutely indestructible. I keep this tuned to E,A,D,G,B,E as well. I bought it new for under $200 and it has earned a place as one of my favorite instruments.
Gary Brawer/Ransome Custom
Built by Gary Brawer/Ransome Guitars in 1990. This was my main guitar from the T-Ride days. It has a floyd Rose with a Trem-Setter, a PAF in the bridge pickup position and a Dimarzio single coil in the neck position. This guitar went all over the world with me while we were on tour. Unfortunately, it was caught in the middle of a house fire and was damaged very badly. The neck has been broken off and repaired three times but it is still quite an amazing instrument. E,A,D,G,B,E
Guild/DeArmond
I keep this Guild/Dearmond tuned to F#,F#,F#,F#,F#,F# and i use it for slide guitar. Why would i tune all of the strings to the same note? Because, when strung with a standard set of strings, i can play several octaves at the same time!
Gibson Hummingbird
The legendary Gibson Hummingbird acoustic guitar. I was camping in Indiana when i found this guitar in a small guitar shop. I don't think they knew what they had because i got it for almost nothing. It was made in 1974 and it is fantastic.
Yamaha FG-345
I keep this guitar tuned like the tandem strings on a 12 string. The E,A,D and G strings are a lighter gauge and tuned up one octave, and the B and high E string are tuned normally. It has a harp-like tone and it is great for doubling a regularly tuned 6 string.
Kay Bass
When i found this bass in a friends' attic, it was painted white with Eddie-Van stripes all over it. I sanded it down and put an old Dannelectro pickup in it. I keep it tuned B,E,A,D for astounding low end!

Gibson basses are always my favorite. This thing played through an old SVT is unstoppable.

This was badly damaged when my house flooded. I had to put it back together again with Elmer's and vices. The artist Tabitha Orlando did the custom paint job. It's a daisy chain! Isn't that sweet?
